    To witness "Overlapped Machining", one of te finest developments by us of a Double Spindle NC turning machine that uses 6 axes, PFA one-minute video showing the cycle programmed for reduced PPC (per piece cost) of production of a customer job.1st side of the job is made at the left spindle that is through the bar feeder and the second side of the earlier job is done at the right spindle. The machining by linear tools mounted on the (X1-Z1) slant bed at left spindle is "Overlapped" with the OD machining tool on the front X3-Z3 compound slide while the (X2-Z2) rt slant bed finishes the second side of the job. The test results have confirmed not only dimensional stability but run-out and face-out values for the job on either side machined on separate spindle clamping also within 10 microns.The UNIQUE advantage of "Overlapped" operations and "Integrated machine cycle" of both side setups reduces cycle time by 1/3rd and leads to a productivity rise of 150% on average but can be up to 200% in cases of maximum overlapping possibilities for components that require both side ID & OD machining where cycle time reduces by almost half. These features are successfully and economically implemented by the advent of a multi-axis (6-axis in this case) and a multi-path Numerical Control System. In addition to the most important direct advantage of Productivity & Quality enhancement this new model has many significant in-direct advantages like 1. Higher Accuracy (Quality) and Higher Productivity (Quantity) Machining Solution 2. Higher transparency and Better control-ability of the machining process3. integrated yet Flexible manufacture of any job from raw material bar/pipe to finished stage in one machine set up of this type.4. With the auto job carrier option installed the operator intervention gets eliminated and the operator is free to concentrate on product quality monitoring or to operate another such machine, hence labor reduction5. Small footprint of integrated twin spindle machines (compared to 2 CNCs) saves high investment of shop-floor cost by 40%.6. Lower Cap-Ex (compared to cost of a typical "machining cell" comprising of 2 CNCs + robotic loader) as well 30~50% Lower Op-Ex as electrical & labor (man) power is reduced.
