Ac issues
Wow thank you Amanda,I am a 56 year old grandma, was having the same issues, hot on driver and cold on passenger side. I had just bought mySUV not that long ago, and it was working fine,poofon day it just stops working correctly. So upsetting asI getting cold easily,I live in a cold area and it was starting a early winter. I am disabled and have no extra money, so imagine me panicking over how much this was going to cost and where wouldI come up with the money, one cold morning trying to keep warm, searching the web for any answer, yours popped up first. It took me three tries, lol,I probably would have tried 20 times ifI had to, but only after 3 tries,I heard it reset itself thenboom it worked better than before. Took me researching to fix my car 2022 Edge
Just got back from ford with this issue they tell me there was nothing wrong with it , they turned off auto climate and it tested fine so nothing wrong ,I get in it after a while of driving i notice it is not in auto, I put in auto ,5 min later low ac temps (warm) driver side . They had the car a week and could not fig this out, I started googling my issue and your article popped up. It took me 3 tries to get it right on screen (hate this new screen ) and wow it works great.

This system AC reset worked great on my 2013 Edge
A while back my wife's 2013 Edge suddenly started blowing hot air out of the passenger side vents when the AC was switched on and cold air was properly coming out of the driver side vents. Very frustrating. Local repair shops wanted well over $1000 to replace the blend door actuator under the passenger side dash. I was gearing up to replace the $40.00 part myself, when I ran a cross this AC system reset hack and it worked!!! Cold air all around now. Thanks !

2013 Edge no heat driver’s side
Just replaced the cabin filter and right afterwards the driver’s side would only blow cold. Couldn’t believe that caused the problem, but double checked anyway. Nope. Thought I would Google for the problem before taking the car to the dealer. Found this article and video and less than 10 minutes later the HVAC was working again! Thank you so much for saving me from an expensive trip to the dealer.

The climate control is a joke. Its so small and at the bottom of a huge screen. So much wasted space. It takes multiple touches to adjust anything and the causes you to look down away from the road. Worse than texting by far. No everything is locked on high and screen does not respond.locked up. Do not buy a 2021 edge with a touchscreen.

2007 Ford Edge
Hello, any idea what could be the issue with 07 Ford edge a/c? These instructions don't relate to my vehicle. I don't have those buttons or a screen. My ac blows air but doesn't blow cool air. Tried freon and it said it was full. Checked my fuses and they seem fine. Please help..

2015 F Edge Titanium
Heat only coming out of passenger side. Tried this "fix". Did not fix issue. I replaced thermostat, actuator and flushed out heater core. Sill no heat on driver's side. Tried "fix" again, but no go. Do I need to replace the HVAC Control Module???

Did not work for me.
2014 Ford Edge. Hot air coming out on passenger side, cold AC on driver's side. Replaced a component on the actuator door? Tried to reset climate control. Does not work. UGH! I loved our car until all this. I refuse to drive it anymore.

Ford Edge HVAC issues
Having seen complaint after complaint about the hvac on the Ford Edge I'm surprised that there has not been a recall. The defrost blows hot on one side and cold on the other which is certainly a safety issue

I tried this several times and didn’t fix the problem
After the reset finished the climate control screen shows a B in upper left corner . The B shows up then 81 . Does this mean something . Still getting cold air on drivers side and heat on passenger side

Temp issue 2017 ford edge 40,000 miles
Ac was on lo setting,moved up to 60 degrees and full blown heat coming out of both sides of vents,very hot,did this reset and it worked.

Error codes 81 B driver's side
I performed this reset and on the left driver's side I'm getting an error code 81 B flashing and on the passenger side 07 10
