Five Star Vienna Sausage Casserole (1974)

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Total Time: 45 minutes

Ingredients

  • 16-ounces cut green beans, drained
  • 16-ounces kidney beans, drained
  • 16-ounces butter beans, drained
  • 16-ounces pork and beans in tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 10 ounces Armour Vienna Sausage in Beef Stock, drained, cut in half lengthwise
  • Onion slices

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Combine beans, horseradish and seasonings: pour into 10- by 6-inch baking dish.
  3. Arrange sausages, cut side down, over beans.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 30 minutes or until bubbly.
  5. Remove from oven.
  6. Separate onion slices into rings; overlap rings down middle of dish.
